Released in 1986, the Sony Watchman FD-2A is a tiny portable black-and-white CRT television and part of Sony’s iconic Watchman range. Featuring a 2-inch flat CRT, VHF/UHF tuning and battery-powered operation, it packed a full television receiver into a remarkably compact body. A fantastic example of Sony’s innovative approach to portable technology during the 1980s.
